October Happenings

There was a small but enthusiastic bunch of Divas this month.  We learned many things: If you were making a friendship star you would like it to spin this way,

ironing is always easier when the iron is plugged in, 

there are many ways to make flying geese,

we were all slightly math challenged that day, some more than others,

and everybody liked beans since almost everyone made something with beans in it.

The Retreat Pictures

Since we have a month off while Syd takes care of her Mom, I thought I'd better catch up and post the last of the retreat pictures.

This was Dianne's photo bomb gone bad.  Nice recovery though, and it was before the margaritas!

Well, Kat. You have missed the events that will result in years of stories. We'll fill you in. Your story-telling is definitely missed -- not to mention your sense of humor. Is Mercury retrograde or is it just the eclipse?

It's June

The Diva's gathered around Syd's kitchen table to do a bit of sewing, knitting, and catching-up.  A new "tea" recipe was sampled - very yummy.

 The Wildwood raffle quilt blocks are assembled and ready for the borders.

Dianne was finishing the binding on another baby quilt.  It's been a banner year for babies in her social circle.  I didn't catch a picture of the quilt.

May Hiatus & April Catch-Up

With graduations, kids coming home from college, vacations, appointments, and all the stuff around the house, the Divas went on hiatus for the month of May.
