I decided not to make Brady's teacher and end of year gift but, instead, I bought her a gift certificate at JEllen's. She is a quilter and she is retiring this year. Over the weekend, I was looking through a new book and saw these apples. I decided to make something after all. It was Sunday night and the last day of school was Thursday. I managed to get it done and I think she appreciated it. Maybe next time I'll plan better.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Ruth. It was all from stash which is always nice. I had just skinny strips left of the border fabric and the two backing fabrics which suited her perfectly. Love when it works out that way. If it hadn't worked out, it would have ended up as next year's teacher gift!
