I managed to get some sewing done over the holidays, including finishing the binding on three pieces (the batik HSTs, Christmas Jelly Roll from last year's race, and the One Way sign I've been working on for far too long). I still can't seem to get out of my slump, though. 2016 was an all time low water mark for me when it comes to sewing. I'm always hopeful that I can dig out soon, though. My sewing room project is almost complete. I was able to find a shelving unit that will fit in the closet and tame the pile of finished quilts that emerged from an armoire that we ended up selling because it just didn't fit in the new house. It is on my list to assemble the shelves today. We also managed to get the doors on the IKEA units over the holiday break. They still need handles and that will wait until my brother visits (finesse is required).
I am hopeful that the recent Bonnie Hunter workshop I attended will be just what I need to get back to piecing! Here's a link to that post on my blog.
