Dear Diva followers. We have been meeting but not posting. I am too sad to write, what with our forthcoming loss of our clubhouse  and the person the lives there.
Pictures have been taken, Don't know why they haven't been posted. Probably something to do with the clubhouse.
We had our jellyroll race in January. I don't know who won but we had first blood as Lynnee sewed into her finger. She was fixed up, needle changed, re threaded and finished either first or second.
Our new challenge is all about diamonds. Some kind of diamond with a haiku. Someone wanted more rule so I added haiku. I also wanted the pieces to have wheels but by then too many were actually paying attention. Lori knows the dead line. Like we care about that. The dead line, not Lori, we really care about Lori.
Our French braid challenge was quite a success and pieces hung at the Wildwood show in Nov and a couple are in the Lake Farm Park show. Dianne got an HM ribbon. Let's not talk about the moronic judging at Farm Park. Speaking of Farm Park several of our members attended classes there this year. Oh boy,oh boy. Dianne said thank goodness for Mary Huey's class  ( Mary is a very good teacher) because the visiting teacher was actually teaching a 5 day thing but didn't say that so if you showed up on day 3 you were lost and she was no help. Actually anti help. And this comes from Dianne and Syd who are not easily confused. Judy was there on day one so didn't have the same issues.
I know we are all sewing but I have no idea of what. Lori has pictures someplace.
Lots of changes. Laura is a grandma now for one and she had blown us off quite a few times but who can blame her?  There have been various health issues that come with old age, ours or others but we try to be cheerful about the entire process for some reason.
Our meetings have been lovely but we are missing the regular attendance of Ruth. She is quite the task master.
Our lunches have been outstanding of course. Just yesterday we had one of those almost all dessert deals.
There was our lovely holiday meeting at Gwen's cottage by the lake. Just so you know, the topiary is at large again.
So we are not dead or disbanded. A little forlorn about some things.
Someone, put up some pictures. No one cares about a blog with no pictures.
